<p>Maria took advantage of our free pick up service.  We brought her 2007 Lexus IS250 in for some routine maintenance, including a new set of brake pads and rotors.  If you&#8217;re busy, give us a call.  We can arrange to pick your car up, service it, and return it to you while you work!</p>

<p>Billy brought us his 2002 Audi A4.  Recently, the windows and the sunroof stopped working.  This is a common issues with VW and Audi vehicles.  Heads Up Motorsports is the ONLY independent shop in the area that has the capability and tools to properly diagnose and repair VW and Audi cars.  After a scan, it&#8217;s apparent that the Central Locking Module is not communicating, and needs to be replaced and reprogrammed.</p>

<p>Jay recently bought this 2003 Audi A6.  Shortly after the purchase, his car started to &#8220;skip&#8221; violently.  Jay brought us the car, and we&#8217;ve diagnosed it as a failed ignition coil.  This is a simple fix, and the car was running great in no time.  Every time your car is in our shop, we take the time and care to properly inspect it, from bumper to bumper.  In Jays instance, it&#8217;s a good thing that we inspected his timing belt.</p>

<p>This the the old timing belt from Jay&#8217;s car.  Notice that it&#8217;s cracked and worn.  We&#8217;ve replaced the timing belt, along with all of the timing components.</p>

<p>Chris&#8217; Mercedes SL500 is in the shop.  When the car failed to start, they called us to pick the car up.</p>

<p>Heads Up Motorsports takes pride in our work, as well as your car.  Every time that your car is in our shop, we make sure to cover your seats and floor mats with protective covers.  Our technicians cover your fenders with cotton fender covers to protect from scratches, and after the job is complete, each car is washed before it&#8217;s returned to the owner.  It&#8217;s just a small part of what makes us different.</p>

<p>Andy brought us his 1998 528i.  He&#8217;s had an issue with the car running hot.  He&#8217;s had the car in several other shops, and after he&#8217;s spent a ton on replacing parts that did not fix his issue, he&#8217;s brought the car to us.  We diagnosed the issue as a blown head gasket, caused by a leaking expansion tank.  The car is repaired properly, and on the road with no issues.</p>

<p>Donnie brought us his BMW M5.  He&#8217;s recently bought the car, and has noticed some noise from the exhaust.  The previous owner had improperly installed an aftermarket exhaust.  We&#8217;ve welded on new hangers, installed new mounts, and taken care of the rattle for him.</p>

<p>Pete dropped by in his new VW Golf GTi for a few dyno pulls.  He&#8217;s just installed a few bolt on performance parts, and wanted to see how much horsepower that his car is making.</p>

<p>Sam&#8217;s Mini Cooper is in the shop for a new supercharger.  The nose bearing has failed, causing the car to stall and run poorly.  We&#8217;re replacing his supercharger with a new unit, and will have him on the road in no time.</p>

<p>Simon brought us his 2010 Smart Fortwo Passion.  After he purchased the car, he&#8217;s had a rough time finding anyone to service the car.  Heads Up Motorsports is very familiar with the entire Smart line of cars, and we were able to take care of him.  We&#8217;ve resealed the oil pan gasket on Simon&#8217;s Smart Passion, and got him back on the road!</p>

<p>Jay&#8217;s 2009 Audi A4 repairs are nearly completed.  We&#8217;ve installed a new head gasket for Jay, and he should be back on the raod this week!</p>

<p>John brought us his BMW 525i for several repairs.  He&#8217;s had an issue with the car over heating.  After another shop was unable to stop the car from overheating, John delivered the car to us.  We&#8217;ve diagnosed the issue as a loss of coolant through a faulty expansion tank, but the constant over heating has caused severe engine damage, and the engine will need a new head gasket.  Repairs are almost completed, and John should be on the road, trouble free, within a few days!</p>

<p>Hayes brought us his 2003 BMW M3.  He&#8217;s had an issue with his battery as of late, so we&#8217;ll be addressing that.  While the car is in the shop, we&#8217;ll also be taking care of his schedule 2 maintenance.  M3 owners, be sure that the shop that maintains your car is providing the correct engine oil for your performance car!  BMW specifies that the M3 should use 10w60 engine oil!</p>
<p>As always, every car that enters the shop is protected with seat covers, floor mats and fender covers.</p>

<p>Peggy brought us her VW Passat 4 motion.  She&#8217;s been having issues with her car for a while.  After the car was diagnosed by the VW dealer, Peggy called us for a second opinion.  While our diagnosis was the same as the dealership, our price for the repair came in about $650 less.</p>

<p>Issaac brought us his VW Golf GTI.  Shortly after an alignment at another shop, his car started leaking power steering fluid.  Take a look at the picture below.  The alignment shop failed to loosen two small clamps, causing the rack boots to bind and tear.  We&#8217;ve replaced the steering rack, adjusted teh alignment, and got him back on the road.</p>

<p>Fredrick brought us his BMW 330ci.  He had just purchased the car, and wanted to make sure that the maintenance was up to date.  We&#8217;ve taken care of all of the maintenance issues, as well as address a &#8220;clunking&#8221; noise in the front end.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We&#8217;ve been covered up this week!  It&#8217;s been great.  Cars rolling in for repairs, lots of performance upgrades, and tow trucks running like never before!</p>
<p>Michael brought us this 1994 BMW 325i.  He&#8217;s had a drivability problem for a while, and several other shops had been unable to diagnose the issue.   During acceleration, his car would stumble and jerk.  Michael was quoted for several expensive parts elsewhere, but we&#8217;ve managed to diagnose the issue as a simple fix, requiring no parts and very little labor.  It&#8217;s a good day to be at Heads Up!</p>

<p>After Paul&#8217;s 1994 Mercedes E420 failed to crank, he called us to have the car towed in.  We&#8217;ve diagnosed the issue as a faulty Neutral Safety Switch, causing the starter not to engage.  We&#8217;re replacing it with a new OEM unit, and we&#8217;ll have Paul on the road in no time!</p>

<p>On the performance side of the business, things are just as busy.</p>
<p>Brendan brought us his B20 Turbo Civic for several upgrades and a dyno tune.  We&#8217;ve started by installing ARP heads studs and a new heads gasket.</p>

<p>Andrew brought us his 2005 VW Jetta after he&#8217;s heard a &#8220;grinding noise&#8221;.  We&#8217;ve diagnosed the sound as a faulty water pump, and we&#8217;ll have him back on the road in no time!!!</p>

<p>Josh&#8217;s 1999 VW Jetta is in the shop for several repairs.  He&#8217;s noticed a lot of vibration at idle, and a rough shift from the transmission.  We&#8217;ll be replacing his engine mounts, and taking care of several other issues while the car is with us!</p>

<p>Here is the dyno chart at 8 PSI.   Wastegate springs were changed for 12 PSI afterwards, that chart is not available.</p>
